Rules of the Battle of the Committees

Note:

  1. Everything that has to be send to the Board has to be sent to: Intern@luna-tik.nl
  2. Every task that includes photo/video material showing committee members is only valid, if the Membership File has been handed in.
  3. Board Members do not count for Pictures that demonstrate attendance.
  4. The official start of the Battle of the Committees is the 16th of October, 2017. The official end is the 10th of June 2018.
  5. Overview of current stats will be shown at each GMA.
  6. The announcement of the winner will be made at the last GMA: 13th of June, 2018.

 

Tasks for the committee:  Earnings:
Handing in the membership file* of the committee to the board before October 29th, 2017 & November 12th, 2017 for 2 points

* This file should include at least everyone who is 100% in the committee, it can always be altered afterwards.

*Alternative for INCO: 2 weeks time after their 1st meeting  Until 30th of Nov. for 4 points and additional 2 weeks for 2 points

*Alternative for ACO: 2 weeks time after their 1st meeting Until 7th of February, 2018 for 4 points and additional 2 weeks for 2 points

Submitting a picture and text to put on the website before October 29th, 2017 & November 12th, 2017 for 2 points

* Alternative for INCO: 2 weeks time after their 1st meeting  Until 30th of Nov. for 4 points and additional 2 weeks for 2 points

*Alternative for ACO: 2 weeks time after their 1st meeting Until 7th of February, 2018 for 4 points and additional 2 weeks for 2 points

Having a shirt for the committee before January 8th, 2018.

There is an alternative deadline for the INCO, ACO which is March 29th, 2018.

Alternative for BACO since they do not have a shirt: Having everything you are going to wear at the ball before January 8th, 2018. (Send a picture)

Submitting an up-to-date version of the committee manual before April 22nd, 2018.

There is an alternative deadline for the INCO, TRACO and ANCO, which is June 17th, 2018

Writing a piece* of text about one’s own activity. It has to be handed in within one week after the activity happened.

*Points are given differently to each committee to allow equality between the committees, see table

*Activities that are multiple days long require descriptions about each day separately.

*These will be posted on the archive page of activities at the Luna-tik website.

Table
Being present with two members of a committee during an activity of another committee. This attendance has to be demonstrated to the board with a picture of the committee members at the activity within 24h after the activity.

OR Being present with at least 50% of the members of the committee during an activity of another committee. This attendance has to be demonstrated to the board with a picture of the committee members at the activity within 24h after the activity.

*No Board Member counts on these pictures

Bringing three or more non-members or non-active members to ANY activity and telling them how cool it is to become active (or at least come to more activities). A picture of these people has to be taken at the activity in order to demonstrate their presence to the board. (Send to the board within 24h after activity) 2 points
Organizing an activity together with another committee or association. 2 points
Attending a General Members Assembly (GMA) with at least 50% of the members of a committee. Attendance will be taken by the board during the GMA.

*No board member counts because we are always there.

When 80%** of a committee is present at their own meeting. A picture* of these people has to be demonstrated to the board. A maximum of 5 of these pictures can be handed in per committee.

*This does not count as a valuable picture for the Social Media Promotion.

**For Committees with 4 or fewer members: Send the picture as long as no more than 1 person is missing.

Coming up with a great idea to brighten up/improve the Luna-tik desk or room. The whole board will decide whether it can be implemented, which is the requirement for the points 1 point
Submitting an idea* for Luna-tik to carry out during the RAGweek.

*The board will pick the winning idea. Only the winning committee will earn the 3 points.

Sending the Board useful Photo and Video material* that can be used for Promotion. Points for the material are assigned by 10/x, where x is the total number of days all activities of a committee demands. (ex: x=3 for TRACO) Note: please be reasonable with the number of pictures you send. (1=not enough, 15=too much)

*anything that provides insight into the planning process of an activity, and what the activity was like in the end.

Max: 10 points
Addition to the point above the same kind of Photo/Video material for promotion, which is not activity-specific (ex: bonding, meetings) can be send up to 3 times. (Note: please be reasonable with the number of pictures you send. (1=not enough, 15=too much) Max: 3 points
Providing novel ideas for promoting Luna-tik or each committee. The whole board will decide whether it can be implemented, which is the requirement for the points. 2 points
Writing a poem, story (at least 250 words) about something that is anyhow Luna-tik related. (Has to be read out loud at the GMA.) 1 point
Writing & singing a song about something that is anyhow Luna-tik related. (Has to be performed at the GMA.) 2 points
Create a yell that your committee always shouts before drinking together. (Video material has to be sent to the Board/consistently performed at GMA/events) 1 point
Making a fitting holiday/season-themed picture with the whole committee. A maximum of 4 of these pictures can be send in. 1 point
Not going over budget at the end of the year. 4 points

*I’m aware that PSACOs last activity (according to schedule), is after the end of the BOC. That means: the chance of 2 points less for PSACO via sending in material, the chance of 2 points less for every other committee via attending activities. PSACO should only note, that 80% of all texts = 100% of all texts

**The Introcamp is outside of the BoC range, I haven’t yet figured out how to make this fair for INCO. However, INCO has not been taken into account concerning “to how many activities can each committee go”, because no one but INCO can go there.
